Q1 In-Class Project Process

So far i have begun the background of my piece, I plan to sketch at least two figures on top when it is completed. I experimented with the texture of the layers in the cardboard, making it appear raw, rotting, and bloody, and used a mixture of glue and paint to create a leathery texture. I am selecting specific images from miscellaneous newspapers to glue on, and using different and intentional techniques of ripping and organizing the collage.
