Oura Sananikone Artist Lecture Experience

It was interesting to have input into his artistic process because his pieces have so much linework, layering, and colors. I have also never seen an artist sell toys like that, making the toy, the package, and everything by hand. I think that is such a cool twist on what could be considered a collector's item, and I was inspired by his innovative choices to present his art as a product, a toy. I loved hearing about what influences his art and the robotic, mechanized figures in it, which was largely his love of Transformers and sci-fi, technological kid's entertainment as a whole that he saw as a kid. Seeing how his art must have stemmed from a passion for such things to what it is today is awesome. I am curious to know more about the graffiti-style art included in his painting and what inspired him to add it, it is one of my favorite parts of his distinctive art style,
